Remembering Dick Renkert
Terry and I went to the memorial service for Dick today. It was a lovely celebration of his life. He was certainly a remarkable man! Dick succumbed to a heart problem; Susie said he was in the hospital for 5 days before he died. He had not been ill. Seems to me, he did it right. He lived a great life and then did not have to suffer very long. He was well loved and well respected by all. I know I will remember his loyalty and friendship.

Bless you both for going. I will never forget his stalwart loyalty to Papa. Even when Dad was incapable of having a conversation, Dick was there for him. A great life and a swift death, may he rest in peace.
