The Start of Something New

I thought the Barr Family had such a great idea to have a family blog, that I decided the Moir Family needed one too. I just finished a great Halloween decorating project for my windows. I tried to take a picture, but it did not come out, so you'll have to trust me that I have a very cute and original decorating touch. (Terry, you can drive by at night).

  1. Well, hello. I think this blog-thingy is a fine idea too. Ellen - I will drive by your house at night and then you will call the police to report a stalker!! Great!! No actually, I am happy to report that by Halloween my house will have a new roof on it! Hooray!!

  2. Well, I see we are all revealing our various nicknames, so I'll go for that too! And although I have figured out how to post a comment, I don't know if that is the same as an actual blog posting. I also see Thom-A** as a team member, whwich may be part of posting. Check your original profile, maybe Baby E? I wish that I COULD drive by Willoughby to enjoy the Mastragelo Halloweenish-ness! It seems very weird that four months have gone by without a visit to Clevesberg either completed or planned..

  4. Daniel was home for the weekend. Sarah looked beautiful for Homecoming and Rachel may have the Swine Flue.

I am still the center of my own life!

  7. Got back Thursday afternoon from Indianapolis and went back to Cleveland early Friday morning. The ride was somewhat harrowing as the rain, fog and general drearyness mad it a cheerless ride. I went over and saw Dave briefly, chatted with Kathy's mother and then went to Meadowbrook, it does look different, a little antisceptic. I took the Pogo stick and left it with Ellen. Over to Ellen's house and the kids and we played until we went to Petti's Pizzaria and saw Mr. M. Stayed with Pat, which is always a story in itself. For example, I ended driving a bunch of Sophmore boys and girls to the Beaumont Homecoming. I met Ed and Terry at Eight the next morning and we packed the Grandfather Clock. Ed was really helpful as alawys. I was on the road by 9:15 and home at about 3:45. My neighbor, a guy a lot like Ed, came over and we moved the Clock which is now fittng in nicely and looks great in my living room. I am not sure we will be coming back to Cleveland for the Holiday's but who knows. We hope everyone is doing well. Not a day goes by without thinking of Mom and Dad, I suspect the missing them will never go away, but I will always feel lucky. I hate the fact that Time is moving me and being a control freak, it drives me nuts. I will be traveling quite a bit this Fall. If anyone needs anything, please do not hesitate to call. I also have a new Office Number which is (908) 665-0576.

    Regards and Love,

    Chris

  10. Was in Indy Monday through Thursday. Bleak time for my company and job losses are piling up. On a happier note, we were supposed to go up to BU to see Kristen for Parents Weekend, but Robert needs to take the PSATs and they are only offered tomorrow in the whole state so instead Kristen is coming home tonight. She is really excited about coming home and seeing us and her best friend, Michele. She also wants to very much see her special boyfriend, Ollie. Hope all is well for everyone.

  11. Chris, hope the mini-family reunion was fun. I know Ollie was particularly happy to have everyone togther again! Hey, just an FYI, you need to add new posts, not comments like this, in order for people to be able to see what's up in NJ.
