Ex-Buckeyes Visit

I just sat down for an hour with Chuck and Sue Flack who are staying at the Inn while they are here for a week in NM. Smart folk staying around to make the most of coming so far! They are doing the art scene for Sue (great show at the O'Keeffe Museum right now), and they went to the Lensic last night to hear Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, as well as spy on the natives. Eating at all the great spots, Geronimo, Anasazi, Coyote, Amavi, I want to go too! They rented bikes for a 20-mile ride this morning (phew) and plan to follow it with a soak at the Ojo Caliente hot springs. Then on Thursday they head up to Taos for a few days, well-timed for the San Geronimo feast day with dances and a greased pole climb - ha! I did not realize that Chuck spent 18 (!) years schooling (college, med school, internship, residency, fellowships and a stint in the Air Force as a major) before he started in practice! Yikes! That's dedication. he spoke so nicely about Pops, it was so heart-warming to hear him express how Dad touched his life. A little thought to savor as Papa's birthday approaches.....
